A playful exploration of today’s preoccupation with ‘living in the moment’ using pop culture, dancing, iconic movies, philosophy and meditation.

Three creatures investigating what it means to be present both physically and mentally through tasks and cryptic clues given by a disembodied ‘god’ voice.

Their existential journey towards presence forces them to battle with the obstacles of their own limitations and egos.

The show was initially developed during a residency with Teateroen in Copenhagen with funding from The Danish Arts Council.

Absence premiered in London at The Battersea Arts Centre.
